"Misty Dawn, New Hampshire", with 22,3 % of the votes
"While on vacation last summer in Northern New Hampshire USA, I set out in search of the much touted  Sugar Hill.  Camping at a nearby campground with my family, I headed out in the darkness at 4 a.m. making my way through small villages and towns. (The advantage here is no traffic!) I located Sugar Hill Mountain (must be the same area, right?) and as I reached the summit in semi-darkness, anxious thoughts and feelings of vulnerability consumed me upon the realization that I was in the middle of nowhere!  As visibility improved, mist presented itself in the distance.  As I made my approach, a glorious sunrise over a misted lake lay before me welcoming me to the morning. Immediately, my excitement overcame my fears and doing this scene justice became the task at hand. Later, I discovered Sugar Hill and Sugar Hill Mountain are two very different areas!! Oh well, getting lost has it's advantages!"
